This affordable holiday apartment is located in the gothic quarter of Barcelona. There is an elevator in the building, and the flat is located on only the first floor. The décor of the apartment is contemporary and clean, designed in mind of an open plan, American style studio, which has a double bedroom, a second bedroom with two single beds and a double sofa bed.

The kitchen of the vacation let mirrors this, with a neat cooking unit complete with hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and fridge freezer. There is an American style breakfast bar that seats four as well as an incredibly roomy sofa. The living room also boasts satellite television and a hi-fi system, as well as the ever necessary airconditioning and heating. The bathroom also has a bath/shower function.

The area

Located in the gothic quarter, this good value apartment is also in close proximity to the sea and Barcelona’s harbour. The Barrio Gotico port area is one of Barcelona’s oldest, and the Port Vell harbour has been at the centre of Barcelona’s history of commerce for hundreds of years. There is then no wonder in why this is one of the most popular and up and coming places in the Barcelona city centre.

Close by to the apartment Codols are the smorgasbord of restaurants, bars, and cafes that Barrio Gotico has to offer. There are then the tapas and paella bars at Barceloneta, not forgetting the recently formed beach towards Ciutadella Olympica, the Barcelona Olympic village. There is also the contemporary arts gallery at the bottom of Las Ramblas, or if the sea air you want, there are regular trips out from the harbour, as well as the historical museum of Catalonia, the marina, and Port Vell aquarium and Barcelona entertainment centre.
