Closer to your home is the international community of Gracia that regularly holds fun local fiestas. The night life around Gracia is laid back and popular amongst Barcelona residents. Further into the Gracia area from are lots and lots of bars, restaurants and shops at reasonable or cheap prices. If you are looking for something a little more up market, head down to the Passeig de Gracia, which is host to many gourmet restaurants and designer shops.
