The Area

Two of his most famous designs, the Casa Batillo and La Pedrera are located on Passeig de Gracia, just north of Plaza Catalunya, which itself is just metres away from your Barcelona vacation apartment.

Even closer to the cheap holiday home, are of course the famed Las Ramblas, where, especially during the summer months, there is always something interesting to see. Many people hand out flyers there for discounted entry to clubs and nearby performances of Spanish guitar or flamenco dancing. These events often take place around the beautiful square Plaza Real, where it is said if you drink from the fountain you will eventually return to Barcelona.
