This Barcelona holiday apartment is a charming 16th century building situated in the traditional Gothic quarter of Barcelona. The apartment has 100sq m of space and natural light in every room. The apartment was decorated by the owner, a well-known photographer from Barcelona. She has given an artist’s charm to the design of the apartment, with an intuitive sense of colour and material. The building, centuries old, maintains its original entrance, which was used for horse drawn carriages and has been declared a cultural heritage entryway. The apartment is in a residential area, so despite being very near the city centre, it is also very tranquil. It has a spacious dining and living room, kitted out with television, along with air conditioning and heating. The cozy kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay. In total, the apartment sleeps 5 people, perfect for groups or bigger families. There is a master bedroom with double bed, and a further single bedroom. The living room also has the option to serve as an extra bedroom at night with the conversion of the sofa into a comfortable extra double bed. The bathroom is fitted with both bath and shower. Other amenities of the flat include: bed linen and towels. Today, the area around Barcelona’s cathedral still thrives, and there are a myriad of cultural events that take place in his neighbourhood. With its central location, the Barrio Gotico is one of the best parts of Barcelona to visit for bars, restaurants and clubs. With the variety on offer in the gothic quarter, there is bound to be something for everyone. The district can be reached from the green metro line on Las Ramblas, or from the yellow in Jaume I.
